Jose also has a keen interest in Ophthalmology.  In fact Jose has previously worked alongside our referral ophthalmologist Barbara Gonella.
Whilst medicine based cases are a huge passion for Jose, he also boasts extremely competent soft tissue surgery skills and enjoys in patient care should non critical cases need attention overnight at the surgery.
Outside of surgery life Jose enjoys reading, travelling, sports and music.

Emma is the newest vet to join our team after coming back to the UK having spent the last year working voluntarily as a wildlife vet in South Africa. She’s working between both our Abingdon and Grove Park practices. She loves dental work and soft tissue surgery as well as neonatal care and is very happy to be back working with domestic cats and dogs again. When she’s not working she enjoys going back home to Wales and hiking in the mountains or walking along the coastal paths with her dog.
